Abstract
This study examines the relationship between religion and single-parenting in Mount Kenya, focusing on single-mother households where male children adopt their mother’s surname. The research provides a detailed situational analysis, supported by statistical data from the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS), to explore the dynamics of single-parenting within the region.
